Why Choose our Solicitors for Dispute Resolution?

We strive to achieve the most workable solution for the circumstance and one that is agreeable to all parties involved, at a reasonable cost too.

Our teams have worked on both sides of various disputes. Therefore, we understand the frustration and the duration it takes to resolve disputes, as well as the financial and emotional implications associated with various cases.

We take the time to understand you and the details of your dispute. It is only after we have understood the origin and matter pertaining to your case that we will advise on the relevant steps to take. Depending on the circumstances, we may consider (ADR) Alternative Dispute Resolution as a way of resolving the case.  ADR involves various methods which include having a physical meeting with other parties involved, expert determination, mediation and arbitration. This mode of dispute resolution allows all involved parties to arrive at a satisfactory outcome within an environment which is both professional and  calm.

There are times when court proceedings are inevitable. However, we can assure you that our teams have the necessary experience and knowledge, in specialist matters, to construct a legal battle in a determined and tenacious manner, as you would expect from any reputable law firm.

What our clients say

I was very pleased with the courtesy of the ladies who attended to my requests and particularly so at the time when I had my accident – they were extremely helpful.

Paul James' support has been invaluable in effectively progressing key contractual requirements. His knowledge and expertise in contract and procurement matters is exceptional. Would not hesitate to engage Paul's services again in future should the requirement and opportunity arise.” (dated March 2017).

The reason I used Redkite is that most solicitors don’t have the area of expertise that I required.

Redkite have provided assistance through several particularly difficult issues. Their advice has been professional, thorough and specifically tailoured to the needs of our business. The staff are approachable, knowledgeable and realistic in the advice they provide.

Redkite were recommended to me and I would do the same, fantastic service.

I have to say that everyone I have come into contact with from the receptionists to the solicitors have always been excellent. The advice I have been given formally and informally has always been clear and concise which is always a weight off your mind when you are dealing with the affairs of your loved ones.

Dispute Resolution FAQs

What is Mediation?

A

When facing a dispute, your focus is usually to get a solution as soon as possible while ensuring that you protect your interests. If you seek help from one of the dispute resolution solicitors, you are going to get the best possible outcome that is best suited for all parties involved. The most preferred method is mediation.

Mediation is a common ADR (alternative dispute resolution) method that if used successfully, can save everyone from a protracted court battle that is costly and time-consuming.

If we find that mediation is the best method for the dispute, we will plan a meeting for the opponent and yourself, along with a trained and qualified mediator. The mediator will act as a referee in your case so that you can have a discussion that leads to solutions that are acceptable for both parties.

Arbitration

A

Arbitration is another popular Alternative Dispute Resolution method. The objective of this method is to allow resolution of disputes in private rather than on the floor of the court. If a case can be resolved through arbitration, both parties to the dispute must agree on an independent arbitrator.

Are Alternative Dispute Methods Effective?

A

As said earlier, using ADR can save you time and money. However, the success of the method depends on whether both parties commit, cooperate and reach a compromise. Arbitration is usually common with parties that are unable to resolve matters using mediation. However, both parties should be committed to the process.

Disputes do happen. Our legal teams have the expertise and experience required to represent you through all stages of dispute resolution including a possible court proceeding. We work with your best interests at heart while trying to reduce cost and stress on either party.
