Tegen Quinn

I joined Redkite in May 2021 and am thrilled to be a part of and add value to their growing commercial team across Wales and into the South West and Gloucestershire regions.

Having trained at a leading Cardiff based commercial law firm, I have extensive experience in working with a diverse range of clients from start-ups, scale-ups, and SMEs, to educational establishments, not for profit organisations and public bodies.

I advise across a wide range of sectors, including professional practices, high-growth tech businesses, e-commerce platforms, manufacturers and distributors.

I provide day to day commercial support as well as project based support on matters such as GDPR compliance, terms of business, supply and distribution agreements, commercial contracts, intellectual property protection and commercialisation.

I also act on corporate matters, supporting and guiding clients through the sale of their business (something which can be a highly personal and emotional process), acting for buyers making strategic acquisitions, assisting clients to secure investment as well as supporting on internal company management through re-structuring, shareholders’ agreements and share option schemes.

I have an unusual background as I previously trained in commercial dispute resolution which has given me a unique perspective on which to advise clients on their company and commercial matters.

I really enjoy what I do. I love working closely with such a wide range of businesses and organisations, getting to know them, understanding their challenges, what their unique focus is and helping them to achieve their goals. I believe in open and straightforward communication and in providing practical advice and guidance.

Recent projects:

  • Completed on the sale of a multi-site automotive business in a multi-million pound deal with a national acquirer
  • Secured large scale investment for a leading software house
  • Created complex and bespoke Saas software and platform agreements for a cutting edge networking platform
  • Negotiated supply agreements for a national food distribution network
  • Conducted a GDPR business overview and overhaul of internal systems to achieve compliance, including internal training sessions

Having moved from Devon to Cardiff for my law studies, I love exploring Wales with my young family and am passionate about all that Wales has to offer.  I have not forgotten my roots and am often found exploring the outdoors in the South West and Wales and trail running across the Beacons, Cotswolds and Dartmoor.
