Mental Health in the Workplace Seminar & Networking Lunch
In partnership with the South Wales Chamber of Commerce we are delighted to invite you to join us at our exclusive Mental Health in the Workplace Seminar & Networking Lunch, taking place at the distinctive location of The Clink Restaurant within HM Prison Cardiff.
Registration and Networking is from 11.00am, with the session on Mental Health in the Workplace at 11.30am, and lunch at 1pm.
This is a unique opportunity to attend The Clink Restaurant, run by prison inmates and serving food made with organic welsh produce, at a discounted rate.
You will hear from us on the topic of ‘Mental Health in the Workplace’; and from Lisa-Marie, a support worker at The Clink who is a passionate advocate on support and mental health in the workplace.
We will begin by giving an overview on what you need to know about managing mental health in the workplace, what your legal responsibilities are, how to manage some of the more “tricky” mental health related issues encountered by employers, and the business case for change. You will then hear from Lisa-Marie, discussing the efforts made at The Clink and HM Prison Cardiff to support the mental health and wellbeing of the restaurant staff and prisoners, as well as her own personal experiences as part of HM Prison Cardiff.
The event will begin with registration and networking at 11.00am. We will begin our presentation at 11.30am and Lisa-Marie will follow at around 12.15pm. This will be followed by a Q&A session and some further networking, at which point we will move into the restaurant area where you will enjoy a two course lunch … an opportunity not to be missed at one of Cardiff’s prime restaurant venues!
