Alice Johnston

I joined Redkite in March 2022 as a Company and Commercial Trainee Solicitor, having previously trained in Commercial, Commercial Property and Corporate law. I qualified at Redkite as a Solicitor in the Company and Commercial team in July 2022.

I have always had an interest in commercial law and completed an advanced drafting project as part of my Master’s degree. Since this, I have worked in both large and medium law firms, gaining a range of experience with a varied client base, in commercial subrogated recoveries and commercial and corporate work, which has provided me with a good footing for this role.

I have experience in reviewing and drafting various commercial documents (such as NDA’s, Service Agreements, Distribution Agreements, Terms and Conditions, GDPR documents and policies etc.), as well as dealing with intellectual property instructions. I also have experience in advising on M&A transactions and guiding clients through the disclosure and due diligence documentation and process as well as in the drafting of various corporate documents and agreements such as Share Purchase Agreements and Shareholders Agreements.

I really do love Corporate and Commercial work. It is so nice to get to know each client’s business. Every transaction is unique and can be very personal, so client care is extremely important to me.

I moved from Wiltshire to Wales for my studies, and have fallen in love with it. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and catching up with family and friends. I am career driven and passionate about exercise – it helps me to stay focused and motivated throughout the day.
