Kaitlan Evans
I joined Red Kite in April 2022 as a Legal Assistant in the Commercial Property department in Carmarthen, after graduating from the University of South Wales with a Degree in Law and Criminology.
As part of my role, I support my colleagues with mainly freehold property transactions, by drafting documents and liaising with clients, agents, and other professionals. I regularly assist on sales and purchases of acres of land and farms, commercial units, and premises, as well as dealing with sales of plots of a large housing development. I am also familiar with various ancillary work relating to freehold property, such as Deeds of Easement, refinancing and legal charges over property, and dealing with voluminous deeds for the application of first registration of unregistered land.
I am happy to deal with all matters in both English and Welsh, as I am a fluent Welsh speaker.
Outside of work, I am passionate about raising awareness for women’s equality within the legal sector. Most recently, I was appointed to be the Project Manager for Ladies of Law, which is an online platform that empowers women in the legal sector at different stages in their career. I am also a member of the Swansea Junior Lawyer Division and Swansea Young Professionals community where I attend networking events and represent Red Kite. When I am not studying, I enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as taking my four French Bulldogs for walks along the beach.
