Lucy Yeomans
I am a solicitor specialising in Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Inheritance Tax planning.
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and began working for Orme & Slade Solicitors, a predecessor firm of Redkite Solicitors, in 2005. I worked in the Newent office of Slades for 4 years, before joining the Ledbury office in 2009.
I became a partner in 2007. I spent many years working in the property department, but I now specialise in the Administration of Estates, drafting Wills and preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney. I also advise on Inheritance Tax planning, as well as care home fees.
As a farmer’s daughter and a keen equestrienne, I deal with many farming and equestrian clients, as well as clients from all walks of life.
Most people find the Administration of Estates a daunting process and I pride myself in making matters as simple and as straightforward as possible. Most people put off making a Will or addressing Lasting Powers of Attorney and I aim to make to process as easy as possible, so that clients have peace of mind that their affairs are in order.
Outside of work I enjoy bringing on my homebred horses to event and I have previously evented at international level. Since my father died, I am actively involved in running the family sheep farm.
In deeply distressing times after the death of my husband I've been treated with compassion and kindness
Lucy Yeomans has been my Solicitor for many years and I have always found her to be very kind & helpful & most professional in dealing with matters in hand
