Neil Hobden

I qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and have featured in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories for more than twenty years. I am one of the few solicitors outside London included in the Citywealth list of recommended family lawyers.

I have a great deal of experience of complex and high value cases. These include dealing with business assets, inherited wealth, “hidden“ monies and other complicating features.

I am known for my strategic and pragmatic approach, and I am as adept at negotiating a financial settlement as I am conducting litigation where necessary.

Having been divorced, I understand the stress and strains which relationship breakdown often brings to clients and their families.Much of my professional life before joining Redkite in September 2023 was spent in Birmingham and London where I worked with (and on the other side to) many of the country’s leading family barristers. My close links with the bar and knowledge of expert witnesses can provide a valuable advantage for clients, especially those with fast moving or complex cases.

I have many years’ experience of negotiating Pre and Post Nuptial Settlements, often involving substantial assets and complicated family arrangements.

Though now based in Ledbury, I continue to work for clients from across the country as well as overseas.

I was born and raised in Malvern and have lived in Herefordshire since 2001.
