Sally McMillan

As a Private Client Solicitor, I specialise in all matters relating to Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

I advise in relation to Estate Planning and Court of Protection matters and I am a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers . I am part of a committed team of specialist Wills and Probate Solicitors and Legal Assistants who are dedicated to offering the best possible all-round service to our clients.

I understand that it can often be difficult for clients to plan for the future and think about what will happen to their property, money and personal possessions after their death. I feel it is extremely important that clients are made to feel at ease and try to explain things in plain English, avoiding the use of legal jargon as far as possible.

I am a good listener as well as being approachable and understanding. Many clients come to see me at a very difficult time, following the death of a loved one. I listen to their concerns and guide them through the process of applying for probate and dealing with the administration of the estate. Many clients tell me how relieved they are that the pressure has been taken off them at such a stressful time and I try to make the process as easy as possible for them.

After completing a Masters degree in History, I went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at Swansea University before joining Redkite Solicitors as a Legal Assistant in 2007. I was subsequently offered a Training Contract with the firm before qualifying as a Solicitor specialising in Wills and Probate matters in 2013.

I have lived in Pembrokeshire for most of my life and enjoy living and working in the county. When I am not working my main interest is my ponies. I breed and show British Riding Ponies and get great enjoyment from seeing the ponies I have bred go on to be successful.

I am a member of a number of equestrian societies including the National Pony Society and the Welsh Pony and Cob Society and feel it is important to support our local agricultural shows in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. I have been invited to judge at several shows locally and would like to accept more judging appointments in the future. My ponies take up most of spare time; however, I also enjoy walking our three golden retrievers.
