Sandville Sponsored Walk 2023

A big thank you and congratulations to Angela Morris, Laura Bale, Madeline Rand, Sophie Titley, Emma Hughes-McEwan and Katherine Simpson from the Bridgend and Porthcawl offices, who successfully completed the Mumbles 2 Mules sponsored walk on Saturday 9th September 2023, which involved a 25-mile walk from Verdi’s Café Mumbles to Kenfig Rugby Club, Bridgend to raise sponsorship funds for Sandville Self Help Foundation.
The walk was opened by the actress Melanie Walters, best known for playing Gwen West in the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey, and the team from Redkite completed the walk on the hottest day of 2023 so far, with 130 other walkers. We understand that the walk has raised £15000 and counting for Sandville. The money raised will help the charity provide the best therapies and support services to people with life-limiting and life-changing conditions.
