Redkite Solicitors Sponsors Child of Wales Awards

3 March 2022

Redkite Solicitors are delighted to be sponsoring the Child of Wales Awards, which will finally take place on Friday 4th March at Mercure Holland House Hotel in Cardiff, following a series of postponements due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Celebrating the inspirational achievements of remarkable young people across Wales, the event will also raise vital funds for four nominated charities who are dedicated to helping children in Wales: Teenage Cancer Trust, Dreams & Wishes, NSPCC and the Bluestone Foundation.

The inaugural event Partnered with Bluestone National Park Resort is intended to shine a bright light on an amazingly brave group of children and young people who face challenges and hardship every day, and despite that never give up and inspire those around them in the process.

With award categories focussing on diversity, bravery, courage, sporting achievements, and children who help others through championing causes and fundraising, the event promises to be an unforgettable and inspirational evening.

Redkite are proud to be supporting the awards as both Event Partner and as category sponsor of the Child of Courage Award (13-18) which has been awarded to Abi Phillips. Abi has an undiagnosed muscle condition which means the muscles in her body are weak. Yet despite the physical challenges that she faces daily, nothing stops her as she raises money for charity and lives life to the fullest.

CEO of Redkite, Neil Walker commented:

“As a business founded in Wales, whose ethos is to prioritise supporting our local communities, we were excited to hear about the Child of Wales awards – an event which will recognise truly unique children from across Wales.

We are in awe of the way children are able to manage and adapt to adversity in their lives, while remaining strong for themselves and those around them. These children, their families, carers, and the charities that help them on a daily basis, absolutely deserve to be recognised for all that they do. There was never a moment we did not want to be involved in making such an important event happen.”

We wish all the winners and their families the very best and look forward to celebrating with them on the night.
