Bethan Rees

My career in communications began in the London PR agency world, where I spent five years working with clients across consumer, corporate, technology, charity and healthcare. I then moved into in-house healthcare communications before joining Redkite and trying my hand in the professional services world.

I see my breadth of communications experience as one of my biggest strengths. Working across so many different sectors has taught me that every business has stories worth telling and that strong, creative communications have the power to connect with the right audiences.

At Redkite, I lead on communications and content, both internally and externally, taking a strategic approach to finding the stories worth sharing and helping to showcase our people and expertise.

I studied French, German and European Studies at the University of Bath, which probably explains my passion for communication, as well as my love of travel and experiencing new cultures. I’m rarely without a plan for my next destination.

Outside of work, I enjoy running, Pilates and cooking. Having spent 18 months working in an independent wine bar, I love learning about wine and, of course, sharing a bottle with friends.
