Angharad Howells
Having qualified as a solicitor in 2009 I’ve been assisting my clients with all kinds of property-related transactions for over 15 years. My training contract was undertaken at a regional firm with a heavy property presence and I knew by the time I qualified that property law was for me.
During my time as a practicing solicitor I’ve acted for most types of client from first time buyers to seasoned property portfolio holders.
I like to work closely with my clients to establish at the outset what their aims are as an acknowledgment that each client’s personal needs and demands are different. Balancing this with the fact that each matter has it’s own specific nature is the key to managing the transaction and expectations.
I enjoy speaking to my clients and find keeping a clear line of communication helps alleviate the stress that can all too often accompany any property transaction, particularly a house sale or purchase.
Over the years I’ve found myself enjoying, alongside my usual type of work, leasehold enfranchisement matters, Right to Manage applications and I’m glad to say this added knowledge base offers something additional to my clients and contacts.
Away from work I spend much of my time taking my sports-obsessed children to various pitches and gyms around Cardiff! I’ve always enjoyed sport and fitness myself and try to make time for a trip to the gym, tennis or some pilates. Spending time with my family and friends is also very important to me.
