Carys Dilliway
Legal Assistant
I joined Red Kite in March 2025 as a Legal Assistant to the Will, Trust, and Estate Disputes (WTED) team, taking on my first legal role after obtaining a First Cass Honours LLB from University of South Wales, and completing the LPC at Northumbria University.
In my role, I support the WTED team across a variety of matters – assisting with client communication, preparing files, and helping to ensure matters progress smoothly and efficiently. I understand that many of the matters we deal with are sensitive and often come at difficult times in clients’ lives, so I aim to assist and approach my work with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
I thoroughly enjoy being a part of such a supportive and collaborative team, as it has allowed me to grow my confidence and develop the skills necessary for a legal career. I find it incredibly rewarding to see matters progress from initial instruction through to conclusion and knowing that the work we do can provide reassurance and clarity is very fulfilling to me. I also truly value having the opportunity to learn from such experienced and talented lawyers, and I hope to develop my career further and qualify as a solicitor the same.
Outside of work I have many passions and hobbies that make me who I am. I enjoy keeping active through the gym, swimming, and long walks with my wonderful rescue dogs, Sheba & Paige. I also love learning new languages, getting lost in a good book, and taking myself on solo trips - particularly the Lake District which I find the perfect place unwind and recharge.
