David Moore

Based in our Cardiff office, David joined Redkite in November 2025 as a Partner in the Firm’s Commercial Disputes department. David joined Redkite from a large commercial firm headquartered in Cardiff and has worked at Top 60 and Top 100 law firms in the city. David has significant experience – working for Claimant and Defendant – in commercial dispute matters.

David’s specialism is in the broad range of commercial disputes, risk management and issue resolution that working in diverse and energetic commercial practices affords. In particular, David’s work has involved resolving and advising on complex contractual issues, director/shareholder disputes, restrictive covenants, debt recovery claims, warranty claims, defamation issues and many others.

David considers that key to resolving a dispute is understanding a client’s position, aims and objectives, and likewise gaining an understanding of what is driving the other side(s) in a dispute scenario. His approach is to endeavour to find the route to the most pragmatic and efficient resolution for clients. Commended for his listening skills, attention to detail and incisiveness, David often concludes matters by negotiation and other means of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Whilst he is also experienced in civil procedure and court proceedings, from the County Court to the Court of Appeal.

Outside of work, David loves to travel to experience new countries and cultures, he likes to get out and savour the beautiful countryside Wales has to offer and enjoys reading and music (listening – not playing!)
