Leanne Tremain

I joined Lowless & Lowless, a predecessor firm of Redkite Solicitors, in 2005 and was awarded a training contract with the firm in 2008. I qualified as a Solicitor in December 2009 and am now an Equity Partner with extensive experience in Private Client law.

Over the years, I have advised clients on a broad range of matters including succession planning, drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Inheritance Tax planning. I now specialise predominantly in Probate and Estate Administration, with particular expertise in managing complex and high-value estates exceeding £1.5 million.

My work regularly involves estates comprising overseas assets, agricultural land, business interests, rental portfolios and trusts. I use my experience to guide clients through the administration process in the most tax-efficient manner possible, advising on Inheritance Tax liabilities together with the availability of relevant reliefs, exemptions and nil rate bands.

I appreciate that dealing with the loss of a loved one can be an overwhelming and emotional experience. I pride myself on providing clear, practical advice alongside compassionate support, helping clients and their families navigate the probate process with confidence during difficult times.

I am a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Association of Lifetime Lawyers.

More recently, I was appointed Head of Probate Development, a role which includes managing teams, supporting the wider Wills and Probate department, and working as part of the senior leadership team to assist with the continued growth and development of the department.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is building long-standing relationships with clients and their families, many of whom have trusted the firm and its predecessor practices for generations.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my young family, creating memories with my children, travelling, visiting the beach and making the most of the outdoors. I also have a keen interest in craft and interior design.
