Louise Irvine

Partner

Louise is a Partner and Head of our Court of Protection and Trust Management Department. A solicitor with over 20 years’ experience, she has specialised exclusively in this field since 2014.

Louise is appointed by the Court of Protection as a professional deputy for property and financial affairs, and also acts as a professional trustee for Personal Injury Trusts and Attorney under an LPA.

Louise has particular expertise in cases involving clients who have received substantial compensation awards following serious and catastrophic personal injury or clinical negligence. She is committed to providing a service that is both accessible and personal, building strong working relationships with clients, their families, and wider support networks. Recognising that every case is unique, Louise delivers a bespoke service where accessibility, flexibility, and understanding clients’ individual needs are at the forefront.

The  Court of Protection department has been shortlisted as a finalist for ‘Court of Protection Team of the Year 2025’ at the British Wills and Probate Awards.

Louise is an affiliate member of STEP and a member of the Professional Deputies Forum.
