Neil Walker

After graduating from Manchester University with a Chemistry degree I took on a training contract with EY, where I qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

I enjoyed working with a wide variety of clients, ranging from small manufacturing and technology businesses, through to large businesses such as BNFL and Capital Bank.

After leaving EY I moved to the Co-operative Group where I held a number of senior posts including Finance Director of Funeralcare.

I was introduced to the legal sector while at the Co-operative Group and held the post of Operations Director at Co-operative Legal Services when it was awarded the first ABS licence to be issued by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in April 2012. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Co-operative Legal Services, growing a successful Probate and Wills business and leading the Personal Injury business during a period of significant change as a result of the Jackson reforms.

When it was time to find a new challenge I was keen to remain in the legal sector and wanted to join a forward looking, innovative law firm. The role of Chief Executive at Redkite Solicitors provided the perfect next challenge for me.

I live in Monmouthshire, South Wales, with my wife and 2 girls. I enjoy the outdoors, including running with the Usk Running Club, cycling and walking.
