Paul James

Paul James is a Partner and Head of Commercial Services at Redkite Solicitors. Since joining the firm in 2013 from Eversheds Sutherland, he has led the development of the commercial team, advising regional and national clients across all Redkite offices on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.

Paul provides clear, strategic corporate support, including advising on M&A transactions, helping businesses navigate change, maximise value and achieve their commercial objectives with confidence.

His commercial expertise includes drafting and implementing standard terms and conditions of business, as well as advising on distribution and franchise agreements, services and marketing agreements, and a wide range of commercial contracts, intellectual property and IT matters.

Paul also has significant experience in public procurement and shared services, having worked closely with public sector clients including The Royal Mint Limited, Milford Haven Port Authority, Swansea University and the Welsh Government. He has provided strategic advice and drafting support to numerous local authorities, housing associations and further education institutions.

Acting for businesses of all sizes - from SMEs to larger organisations - across a wide range of sectors, Paul is known for his practical, client-focused approach. He takes the time to understand each client’s objectives and delivers clear, commercially driven solutions to help achieve them.
