Rachel Duncan

I am a solicitor in Redkite’s employment team. Here, I provide HR support to businesses, advise and support clients dealing with employment disputes and support our corporate team with the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

I have been a qualified solicitor for over 10 years. I initially started out within the field of commercial disputes, with an emphasis on breach of contract, intellectual property disputes and post- termination employment disputes relating to breach of restrictive covenants and misuse of confidential information.

In 2018, I made the decision to specialise purely in employment law and have practiced in this field since, with a particular focus on employment disputes and employment tribunal litigation.

My day-to- day work as an employment solicitor is varied and includes:

–              Guiding clients through disciplinary, grievance and capability procedures,

–              Preparing contractual documentation, policies and staff handbooks;

–              Preparing and advising on settlement agreements;

–              Representing employee and employer clients involved in employment disputes and through the litigation process.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, yoga, going to the gym and spending time outdoors.
