Rebecca Caswell

I am an Equity Partner in the Probate team at Redkite Solicitors, specialising in Probate, estate administration and intestacy.

Born and raised in Pembrokeshire, I graduated from Cardiff University with an LLB Law degree before completing the Legal Practice Course. I qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and joined Redkite Solicitors in 2014. Having specialised exclusively in Private Client work throughout my career, I became an Equity Partner in 2024.

I advise individuals and families on a broad range of Probate and estate administration matters, including:

• Intestacies
• Farming and agricultural succession matters
• Inheritance Tax matters
• Deeds of Variation
• Grant only applications

I have extensive experience in the administration of large and complex estates, including those involving agricultural assets, business interests, multiple beneficiaries and sensitive family circumstances. I also regularly advise on intestacies and matters requiring careful, practical guidance to help families navigate difficult situations.

I understand that Probate and estate administration matters often arise at challenging times for clients and their families. I pride myself on providing clear, pragmatic and compassionate advice tailored to each client’s individual circumstances. Building trusted, long-standing relationships with clients is central to my approach.

I am able to meet clients in the office, at their homes, in hospital or other appropriate settings where required, ensuring advice remains accessible and supportive at all times.

As an Accredited Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers, I am committed to maintaining the highest standards when advising older and vulnerable clients. I have also achieved the Older Client Law in Practice Award and the Older Client Care in Practice Award, reflecting both my specialist knowledge and client-focused approach.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two young children, as well as running, cycling, camping, walking in the Pembrokeshire countryside, travelling and reading.
