Richard Fisher
After graduating from Oxford University in 1974, I did my Articles (or Training Contract as it is now known) with a small City of London firm which had a general practice but specialised in Entertainment Law.
After qualifying in 1975, I worked for two City firms, specialising in Shipping and Commodity Law litigation and arbitration before returning to my birthplace, Cardiff. Here, I joined a medium-sized high street firm and continued to practice in Civil Litigation whilst also doing Criminal Advocacy and Property work.
For the last twenty years I have specialised in Commercial Property, together with Residential Conveyancing. My Commercial Property practice is predominantly acting for Landlords & Tenants in sales/purchases and leasing of Commercial Properties, such as warehouse units, shops, takeaways and offices. My clients range from individuals to medium sized companies. Given my experience in a wide area of practice, I am able to give my Clients full and rounded advice; they seem to like this as I have been acting for many of them for nearly thirty years!
In 2007, I qualified as a Notary Public and have built up a substantial Notarial Practice covering South-East Wales. My Notarial Practice covers work for individuals who require documents for use abroad, such as for purchasing/selling properties, getting married and administering foreign estates and for a large range of commercial companies, such as pharmaceutical and bio-medical companies, engineering companies, manufacturing companies, shipping agents and government-owned organisations when they are submitting documents abroad for such matters as tenders and compliance requirements.
