Tamlyn Palmer is a Partner and Operational Lead for Personal Injury, covering 19 offices across Wales and South West England. Tamlyn champions a collaborative approach to litigation and client care, focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for clients whilst supporting employees and providing them with the tools required to succeed and develop.
With more than 15 years’ experience in personal injury litigation, Tamlyn specialises in representing claimants who have sustained life changing injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and polytrauma arising from workplace incidents, school incidents, and road traffic collisions.
Tamlyn is passionate about supporting those who have suffered serious and catastrophic injuries, providing pro bono support and working closely with charities to ensure access to wider support in the community, including welfare benefits advice and support with housing.
Tamlyn prioritises early rehabilitation, working collaboratively with defendant insurers and securing timely interim payments to support her clients’ recovery. Her strong relationships with clients, peers, case managers, counsel, charities and rehabilitation providers, combined with her negotiation skills, attention to detail, litigation experience and empathetic manner, make her a go-to solicitor for serious injury claims.
Tamlyn is a Board Trustee and Secretary of the Wales Mobility and Driving Assessment Service, reflecting her wider commitment to promoting independence and improving access to work, education, healthcare, and community.
She is a supporter of the No Falls Foundation, where she is committed to raising awareness of fall from height risks and improving workplace safety standards. She is also a supporter of Headway, a national brain injury charity, and has previously committed time to supporting Headway at their Cardiff Independence and Wellbeing Centre.
Tamlyn is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). A Cardiff University graduate, Tamlyn qualified as a solicitor in 2015, became a Serious Injury Team Manager in 2021, a Senior Associate in 2023 and a Partner in 2026.
Outside of work, Tamlyn enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband, two active young children and Labrador Retriever.
