Madeline Rand

I am an Associate Solicitor in the Private Family Law team in Porthcawl.

I have been practising family law for over 25 years and specialise in financial disputes arising from the breakdown of marriage or cohabitation. I qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and since this time have practised in all areas of family law.

I have considerable experience in high assets divorce cases and prenuptial agreements.  I regularly represent clients where there are complex pension and property assets involved.

I take a pragmatic and sensitive approach when conducting client matters.  I am empathetic and strive to build and maintain client trust, in order to achieve the best possible outcome.

I am a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel and an accredited member of Resolution which is an organisation dedicated to encouraging a non-confrontational approach in family law cases. I take pride in following these principles in all of my cases.

I joined Redkite Law in 2022, prior to this I was the Head of the Family team in another local firm.

At Red Kite I am able to work in my hometown and by doing so I am able to maintain strong links to the local community, schools and businesses. I write for a local magazine and have links to various community organisations.

Aside from work, I am kept busy by my children, volunteering and keeping fit.
