Based from our Stroud office, a new opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Assistant to join the office on a full-time, permanent basis. The working pattern affiliated with the role will comprise of 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 09:00-17:00.

What will you be doing?

  • Undertaking compliance and service delivery elements of file reviews.
  • Reviewing and following up with fee earners for completion of the legal element of file reviews.
  • Keeping file review master file up to date for reporting purposes.
  • Reviewing and following up with fee earners for completion of Matter Risk Assessments.
  • Reviewing and following up with staff to ensure mandatory compliance training is completed.
  • Working as a team to handle client complaints, including acknowledging complaints and liaising with fee earners to produce a suitable response.

 

Who we’re looking for

  • Strong IT skills, with ability to use data management systems and the full Microsoft Office Suite;
  • High attention to detail, with good communication skills and client care;
  • Able to work to deadlines & prioritise workload accordingly;
  • Team-player with a willingness to learn from (and provide support to) others;
  • Willingness to travel on occasion
