Nicola Cuggy

After completing my law degree at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, I went on to study at Chester College of Law, then stayed in Chester to complete my training contract.

Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2012, I have worked in a variety of practice areas for a number of prestigious firms across the UK. I relocated with my family to South Wales in 2017 and since that time have dedicated my career to supporting clients with all aspects of family law including divorce, matrimonial finance and children matters, including contact and residency disputes. It’s a sensitive and emotional area of law, but I get satisfaction from knowing that I’m helping people through some or the most difficult times in their life. In every case, my goal is to provide legal expertise but also compassionate guidance, and even a shoulder to cry on.

I was attracted to Red Kite Law because the staff are so personable. They are professional but also down to earth and friendly at every level of the business. I was also impressed by their flexible working policies and the way in which as a firm, they adapted to new ways of working during and after the pandemic. For me this sets Red Kite apart as a forward-thinking firm, able to adapt to ensure that clients continue to receive the best possible service and the staff are happy and well-looked-after.
