We have a competency framework setting out the expectations of roles from Solicitor through to Partner so that, at every point of promotion consideration, staff know where they stand and where they can go. We also operate a play to your strengths model, whereby colleagues can specialise in the technical, BD or people management pathway. If BD isn’t your thing, we won’t expect that of you and, likewise, if you prefer people management to technical fee-earning, we can develop you according to your preferred career development pathway. We’re about allowing you to be the professional you want to be – not enforcing expectations on you that don’t align with your personality, skill set or working style.
