Angela Newman

My route into the world of buying and selling houses was not the traditional one.  Having completed my law degree, I started my working life in a different type of retail world with W H Smith, choosing to get some life experience before qualifying as a solicitor a few years later.

From a background early in my legal career, of taking on the big insurers, as a Civil Litigator, through to managing sensitive situations at an often-difficult time in Family Law – my move into Residential Property a few years ago, was an about turn to a less adversarial working life and it is where I have found my home.

My priority is to do my absolute best for my clients and to try to take the stress and anxiety out of a situation many of us find ourselves in at one point or another in our lives, be that starting out as a first time buyer; selling and then buying a new home; or taking the plunge and managing a portfolio of investment properties.

Whilst I am fascinated by all the history that can be discovered when investigating a property for a client, at the end of the day it is a very personal set of circumstances which brings you to our door and I pride myself on providing a bespoke service, according to your needs and wishes.

When I am not acting on sales; purchases; remortgages; equity release – downsizing, upsizing, investments, and Declarations of Trust (an all round residential conveyancing service) I enjoy living in Cheltenham and spending time with family and friends in Ross-on-Wye, London and further afield whenever possible!
