Michael Brady

I am a Consultant Solicitor with Redkite specialising in Dispute Resolution and Family Law. I am originally from Yorkshire, and have been with the firm since 2005 after working in London for several years.

I have over 40 years’ experience to draw on when advising and representing my clients on matters such as divorce and cohabitation breakdown, the resolution of financial issues, access to and care of children, employment matters including compromise agreements and tribunal cases, as well as commercial and general disputes, including contested Wills and property disputes.

I was also one of the first wave of Collaborative Family Lawyers. I consider I have a humane and sympathetic approach to clients’ problems and look for positive outcomes wherever possible. I believe strongly in a conciliatory approach to family law work, and in seeking practical solutions to what are often complex family problems, but I conduct my clients’ cases robustly where circumstances require.

Outside work I enjoy all sports, participating mainly in cycling these days. I am an enthusiastic follower of football and cricket, and a keen reader and theatre goer. I am a reasonably competent French speaker, having family living in France. My wife and I have two grown up children who still keep us both busy!

I would like to thank you for all your help and patience with me over the last nearly four years and for guiding me through the process with dignity
