Paul Adams
After graduating from Birmingham University degree with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management, I moved to Berkshire with a training contract with Deloitte (Deloitte Touche). I qualified as a chartered accountant and was admitted to membership of the ICAEW in 1998.
During my time at Deloitte, I worked with a variety of clients ranging from sole traders to global companies and plcs. I also gained experience across a range of regulated clients including legal firms, financial services (unit trusts, pensions and insurance companies) and charities.
Throughout my career I’ve worked in senior finance positions in dynamic companies that have grown quickly, giving me the opportunity to work on transactions including takeovers, acquisitions, system implementations and corporate financing. I have worked in public companies (plc’s), and in private equity and venture capital backed businesses.
In my spare time, I volunteer in Scouting, both as an Explorer Scout Leader and a member of the group’s Executive Committee (trustee). I live in Ceredigion with my wife and one of my grown up daughters.
